Betrayed housewife Maria’s life is upended when she unexpectedly inherits a vast mafia empire at her grandfather’s funeral, transforming from a dismissed “middle-aged housewife” into the “Godmother” of the St. Clair crime family. As she navigates her new role—seeking peace in a world of violence—she rekindles a forbidden love with Richard, her childhood crush and the family’s trusted advisor. But Richard is secretly the long-lost heir of their greatest rival, torn between blood and loyalty.
