Windblown Fate

About this drama

Jessica, a former war correspondent, gave up her career to become a housewife after marriage and motherhood. Ten years later, her husband, Shawn, gifted her late mother’s prized camera to his "little sister," Yvonne. Jessica soon discovered their ambiguous relationship, and to her dismay, even her daughter, Megan, idolized Yvonne. Heartbroken, Jessica applied to return to the battlefield. Her bureau chief warned her, "War correspondents must remain until the conflict ends," implying she might not come back alive. She filed for divorce, but Shawn dismissed it indifferently. The final straw came when Megan called Yvonne "Mom" during a livestream. Devastated, Jessica later exposed Yvonne’s lies—claiming to travel the world while secretly leeching off wealthy men and, worse, stealing Jessica’s treasured war photographs to pass off as her own. But when Jessica confronted her publicly, Megan and Shawn accused her of lying. During a street assault, Jessica’s live coverage went viral, revealing her true identity as a war journalist. Megan, seeing her mother’s bravery for the first time, began to question everything. Yet Yvonne continued mocking Jessica as a "wannabe influencer." T
