While I Waited, He Built Another Family

About this drama

Two years ago, Chloe's father died suddenly in a strange car accident. At the funeral, Chloe, overcome with grief, fainted. When she woke up, she discovered that her husband, Liam, and her best friend, Mia, had lied and claimed she was insane, and had conspired to have her committed to a psychiatric hospital. After being forced to take psychiatric medication for two years, Liam pretended to be deeply in love with her and brought her back home. Little did she know that one late night, Chloe would unexpectedly catch her husband and her best friend in the act. What made it even more sickening was that not only had the two of them been cheating on her for a long time, but they even had a two-year-old son together. Faced with this cruel betrayal, Chloe didn't break down in tears; instead, she buried all her hatred deep within and continued to feign illness on the surface. Before his death, her father had financially supported a psychiatrist named Noah. With Noah's secret help, Chloe stopped taking the hallucinogenic medication and carefully planned her escape from the house step by step, eventually retrieving the evidence her father had desperately hidden before his death.
