The Rebel and the Scholar

About this drama

Maya Hayes is a straight-A student with one goal: study hard, escape her violent father, and never look back. But when she stumbles into a tattoo parlor — fleeing a beating — she comes face-to-face with Oakridge High's resident rebel, Jude Sinclair. Soon, the well-behaved scholar and the rich kid with a broken past are thrown together as desk mates. Late nights turn into shared secrets. Insults give way to understanding. Bit by bit, they begin to see through each other's armor — and find something real underneath. Together, they make a pact: break free, fight back, and burn down everything that tries to keep them down.
