The Forgotten Emperor’s Revenge

About this drama

Eighteen years ago, Roman Emperor Lucius faked his death and abandoned the throne to protect his wife and daughter, living in obscurity as a retired soldier. Years later, he sacrificed himself to save them, taking the place of his rival, Cassian, as a hostage. Instead of being rescued, Lucius was abandoned and tortured in a mine for three years. When he finally returned, he discovered that his wife and daughter had never tried to save him and were now living with Cassian. Heartbroken and betrayed, Lucius reclaimed his military power and revealed his true identity as Emperor. At a banquet where his wife and daughter competed for grain transportation privileges, three mighty legions knelt before the man they once considered worthless. Now restored to power, Lucius launches a ruthless reckoning against Cassian, the traitorous rebels, and everyone who betrayed him.
