The Emperor Shakes the World

About this drama

Emperor Liu Tianwu stood in the Golden Throne Hall reading a letter, his face breaking into overjoyed delight — his long-lost younger brother had finally been found. Only the Emperor and the Commander of his Shadow Guards were present, so the news remained confidential; none of the court ministers knew of this discovery. Years ago, armed rebellion threw the realm into chaos. The two brothers, barely one or two years old, were hunted down by enemy soldiers. The younger boy fainted from starvation as raiders closed in. To save his brother, the elder child smeared blood across both their faces and lay still, pretending to be dead. When reinforcements arrived, they only carried away the elder boy, who had feigned death. The siblings were separated after the younger child regained consciousness, and the elder brother eventually ascended the throne as Emperor.
