SAPPHIRE IN THE WASTELAND

About this drama

In a wasteland where a drop of water is worth more than gold, Sira, the last Siren Princess, is the ultimate living prize. To avenge her fallen race, she disguises herself as a withered assassin, only to fall into the merciless hands of Kael, a cold-blooded Commander who treats her as his captive plaything. She survives on blood and tide, possessing a miraculous healing touch even as her body shrivels from thirst. He is a killing machine haunted by a paralyzing fear of the deep, yet he is the only one who nourishes this dying "beast" with his own veins. What begins as a cruel game of exploitation spirals into a dark, forbidden obsession fueled by primal instincts and shared trauma. As brutal possession turns into fatal devotion and a jealous rival's gun finds its mark, the truth bleeds out. While the High King masks his monstrosity behind a veil of holy benevolence, Kael uncovers the visceral reality of a genocide through the memories in Sira’s blood. When a subterranean river erupts from the desert floor, she plunges into the abyss, and he leaps after her. Bound by a destiny of sand and sea, their dark romance defies the laws of survival. Will he clap the shackles onto her wrists
