My Mafia Husband's Perfect Lie

About this drama

Twenty-three-year-old Ines escapes the Visconti crime family that raised her for nineteen years, hoping to find her biological parents and live an ordinarylife. Eight months later, her birth parents give her away once again, this time to a debt broker to settle her younger brother's illegal gambling debts. But the car takes her straight back to the Visconti estate—the very place she fought so hard to escape. When her identity is revealed, her adoptive parents prepare to take revenge on her behalf. Ines, however, insists that her biological family be held accountable through the law. Soon trapped once more by her adoptive family's love and control, she decides to stop running. She pretends to accept her place in the family while secretly working with Naomi, who has been forced to serve them, to gather evidence of their crimes. Ultimately, Ines brings down the crime family that raised her. She neither returns to the birth family that abandoned her nor accepts the devotion of an adoptive family whose power rests on crime. For the first time, she truly chooses her own life.
