He Paid for One Night, Then Wanted Forever

About this drama

Struggling to make ends meet, Haley strikes a one-night deal with Julian, heir to a powerful wealthy family, at a nightclub to fund her gravely ill mother’s treatment. She is convinced they will part ways forever after that night, only to find herself repeatedly drawn into his world. At a high-profile auction, Julian pays an astronomical sum to claim her. It soon emerges that he has been secretly laying the groundwork for years to track down and dismantle a human trafficking syndicate. Her childhood sweetheart Ryan, who comes across as gentle and refined on the surface, is secretly the ruthless kingpin of the criminal ring — and so the fateful entanglement of the three begins to unfold. When gunfire erupts, Haley takes the fatal bullet meant for Julian. As she wakes up to his long-overdue confession, she is left to wonder: should she trust in fate’s design, or is this nothing but fate’s cruel joke? Spanning five years of unspoken affection, this secret love will finally find its answer amid high-society conspiracies and life-and-death trials.
