Frozen Frontier: I Hunt To Feed My Family

About this drama

When Lin Feng returned to Kaoshan Village at the foot of Mount Changbai, he found his home in utter ruin following the tragic deaths of his father and elder brother. His sister-in-law, Zhou Xiulan, was struggling to keep the household together while being relentlessly cornered by the village bully, Boss Tiger, over unpaid debts. In the midst of this crisis, Feng relied on his exceptional wilderness skills and unyielding grit to turn their fortunes around. Starting from the ground up, he hunted hares, dug for winter bamboo shoots, and fished beneath frozen rivers, steadily carving out a living through sheer hard work. He defended the village by striking down marauding wild boars, fought off vicious wolves single-handedly, and felled a massive black bear. Later, he partnered with the Ye family, owners of a century-old traditional herbal pharmacy, to establish a trading business for wild mountain produce. Leading his fellow villagers to sell the treasures of Mount Changbai far beyond the mountains, Feng brought flourishing prosperity to the once-impoverished valley, ensuring their days grew brighter and richer with each passing season.
