Fake Play

About this drama

Team doctor Chloe Hayes gave up medical school for her boyfriend, star quarterback Ryan Cole. On the night he wins MVP, he thanks her roommate on stage, kisses her in front of everyone, and sneers that Chloe is only good for signing off on his “recovery shots.” Humiliated, soaked, and locked out of her own room, Chloe is taken in by Jake Walker, the team’s notorious bad boy and Ryan’s sworn enemy. His offer is simple: play his girlfriend until the playoffs end. Ryan loses his mind, and Jake takes back the field. There’s a heartbeat check in front of the whole team, a kiss on live TV after a brutal hit, and one hotel bed with Ryan listening through the wall. Every move is for show, until it isn’t. But the shots Chloe signed for were banned drugs, and Ryan and the head physio are rewriting the records to put her name on the crime. With her career on the line and their contract exposed, Chloe has one play left: prove the truth with her own hands, and find out whether Jake’s love was ever an act.
