About this drama

In a desperate attempt to save her daughter, Ellis swapped the wealthy Mrs. Burton's child during a hospital fire. For the next eighteen years, she mercilessly mistreated Mrs. Burton's biological daughter, Brennen. Ellis even secretly passed off Brennen's artwork as that of her own daughter, Cole, so that Cole could win awards and enjoy a better life. However, when Mrs. Burton met Brennen, she sensed that Cole was not her biological daughter and began investigating the truth of what had happened all those years ago. Ellis and Cole resorted to every possible means to prevent the truth from coming to light, even considering drastic measures to silence Brennen. Yet, in an unexpected turn of events, Mrs. Burton ultimately uncovered the truth.
