Against the Tide

About this drama

Flora was born into a feudal family where boys were preferred over girls. Abandoned by her grandmother, she was saved by a kind passerby, Victor, who took her in. Despite his wife, Wendy, and their son being against the decision, Victor chose to raise Flora in a separate house. As Flora grew up, she managed to enter university, and Victor worked hard, even digging herbs in the mountains to afford her tuition. Meanwhile, Wendy tried to sell Flora to a lecherous man. With her grandfather’s protection, Flora overcame countless obstacles to complete her education and build a successful career. Years later, she returned in a luxury car to celebrate Victor’s 60th birthday, proving everyone wrong who had once looked down on her. Now, she is the powerful CEO of the renowned Yunding Group.
