Charon is a funeral conductor who drifts through history. Anyone whose funeral he personally conducts—all their descendants are blessed with immense fortune. In the blink of an eye, five thousand years have passed. Charon awakens once more and reopens the Undertaking Shop he has operated for millennia. At the same time, the Chen family—the richest in the Great Xia Dynasty—learns of Charon's awakening. Coincidentally, the Chen family patriarch is suffering from an incurable illness and will pass away any day now. For the sake of the family's stability, the patriarch issues a bounty: find Charon at any cost. And so, the story of the mysterious funerals begins. To arrange her father's funeral, she knelt before the Chen family begging for compensation, but to no avail. With nowhere left to turn, she found the Undertaking Shop—and stepped inside to draw a lot…
